E-Mentoring
Ohio State has enrolled in MentorNet, the award-winning, e-mentoring network for diversity in engineering and science, to offer one-on-one, e-mail-based mentoring opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral staff and early career faculty in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. MentorNet is nonprofit and free to students. It addresses the retention and success of those in engineering, science and mathematics, particularly but not exclusively women and other underrepresented groups. To find a mentor,or to volunteer as a mentor, fill out a mentor profile online. OSU's enrollment in this service is funded by the colleges of Engineering, Biological Sciences, and Math and Physical Sciences; and the Women's Place.
